We headed down as a team to Ventura for an intensive and intimate meeting of artists and music industry people, including A&R pros, soundtrack supervisors and publishing executives. Valuable panels and artist listening sessions were created to give feedback and direction for possibilities in these essential streams of revenue. Josh Rosenblum and Susan Ritchie both landed coveted showcase spots (only 44 artists were chosen from 100 applicants.) The pool of talent there was humbling and inspiring!
We were so grateful to have been a part of this important community who is providing ways for artists to monetize their art in many different ways.
